On this settings page you will be able to customize some texts and error messages shown to customers in your Returns portal.

It is split in two tabs: Exchanges and Error messages

Exchanges

Here you will be able to adapt the default description for the options shown for exchanges depending on what kind of exchanges you allow on your store, and your product type structure.

For example: in some stores changes in size and color are considered to be variants of the same product, while in others, different colors options constitute separate products and therefore not eligible for Variant Exchanges (See Exchanges Configuration Guide). Depending on that we recommend adjusting these texts in order to create the right expectations for customers.

Error messages

Here you'll be able to customize the error messages that customers might see if their order is not eligible for returns or exchanges in order to better fit the tone and type of wording used in your brand.

Multi-language support

Any time you choose to use a custom message for any of this texts, you will have to enter the necessary translations for each of the supported languages so these can be used in the Returns Portal.
