On this page you will be able to view a set of metrics and graphics that will help you quickly get the state of your returns and exchanges and your business in order to be able to gain insights and react more quickly to any situation that might merit your immediate attention.

The page is split into several cards that can be filtered individually to display a different time ranges (Last 7 days, Last month, Last Year), Region/s and grouping for products (Products, Variants or Product Categories, wherever it applies)

General

Assorted set of metrics for day-to-day use, calculated for the selected time range and regions:

  • Transactions about to expire: Applies to Instant Transactions only, that if not processed before 30 days, will be marked as Accepted automatically. Non-instant transactions do not expire. (Not affected by the selected filters)

    Only for merchants on Advanced and Premium plans

     
  • Transactions for review: Count of all transactions marked as “For review”
  • Transactions pending approval: Count of all transactions that have not yet reached a final state. (Not affected by the selected filters)
  • Instant transactions: What percentage of transactions corresponds to Instant transactions.
  • Average return time: Average time it takes for customers to return the products (counted from the date the request is placed until the return is received, not processed necessarily)
  • Earnings retained as exchanges: Monetary amount corresponding to exchanged items (that otherwise would have been returned)
  • Earnings retained as Store Credit: Monetary amount corresponding to refunds made as Store Credit (that otherwise would have been refunded to the customer as actual money)
  • Average return ratio per order: Ratio of products exchanges/returned from the total of products in the original order. For orders that have been returned/exchanged. Not for all orders received.

Return/exchanges ratio

Split of returns to exchanges for the selected time range and regions. Depending on the selected time range it will display the breakdown of the corresponding 7 previous days, previous days of the month from the current date (ie: from the 12th of the previous month to the 12th of the current one) or the previous 12 months from the current date.

Total returns/exchanges

Total number of returns to exchanges for the selected time range and regions. Depending on the selected time range it will display the breakdown of the corresponding 7 previous days, previous days of the month from the current date (ie: from the 12th of the previous month to the 12th of the current one) or the previous 12 months from the current date.

Most common return/exchange reasons

Top 5 reasons selected by customer when returning or exchanging products for the selected time range and regions. For each the total number of products for which that reason was selected, and what % of the total they represent are displayed on the right.

Return methods

Top 10 return methods selected by customers for the selected time range and regions. For each the total number of requests using that method, and what % of the total they represent are displayed on the right.

Most returned products

Top 5 returned products (either fully returned or exchanged) for the selected time range and regions. For each the total number of requests using that method, and what % of the total they represent are displayed on the right.

Depending on the grouping selected it will display all variants for a product as a single item, split each variant as its own item or show the most returned product categories

Refund methods

Split of refund method used for the selected time range and regions. For each the total number of refunds issued using that method, and what % of the total they represent, and the total monetary value they represent are displayed on the right.
